The Divine Feminine

There’s not a lot of white rappers that make it into my shuffle but Mac Miller gets a good chunk of my music library’s memory, simply because he’s dope as hell. Dope as he is, he’s been MIA for the past few months. Personally, I was hoping he was spending his time on a Donald Trump remix where it’s a diss track instead of being anything like the original but I don’t see that happening. What I do see, and have listened to is Mac Miller’s new album, The Divine Feminine. This is his fourth studio album and the key word here is: growth. He’s really blossomed into an amazing musician! This piece of work is definitely more soft, and personal, and I really dig that. I can tell Mac’s done a bit of soul searching and is displaying that in his art. Two hot features on the project are Kendrick Lamar, and Anderson .Paak who is finding his way on everybody’s tracks. This is definitely an album you’re going to want to play when your special “other” comes over to spark up.
